I'd say that swordtails are the most active livebearers, as they are always swimming about. Guppies don't seem to roam around a tank as much as swordtails do.

I have guppys, platys, and a pair of sailfin mollies. I would say guppies win hands down. Mine are always all over the tank, up to the top, and when feeding form a mass at the surface of the water. I would even say the water is "churning" with guppies. When I feed tubifex, they all gather round my fingers and nibble, little slick smooth fishy bodies all around in and out of my fingers, nibbling away at the worms and me. Super active, super energetic little fish.
Platys are slower, stay mid-low water, and dont do much in my opinion. Not compared to guppies.
I bet Endlers are as energetic as guppies though.
I have never kept them, but can imagine.

I've platies, guppies, and Endler's...of my fish I'd say platies are the most active, followed by the Endler's :%)

based on my experiences, I'd have to go with swordtails. Their bodies are more streamlined and larger.
I think they are also more territorial on average than other livebearers.
