Platys in my opinion are also too big for a 10g, unless you decided to only keep a few males. Female Platys also hit 3-4 inches. Males only usually reach 1.5-2 inches, though I have a couple that are amazingly large at 2.5- 3 inches or so. Your best choices would be to get a few guppies, you could get only females they are very happy and content alone and very peaceful. Or you could try males, though in my experience male guppies always rip each other to shreds when no females are present. Another option would be Endlers. They are quite small and more suited for a 10g tank, and there are other small livebearers as well, like limias, heterandia formosa, and other. The maximum number of guppies I would put in a 10g tank is 5-6, and even that is pushing it. Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |
