So yeah I bought guppies on wednsday 4 "feeders" Today I have 3 little ones in the net that couldnt possibly have been from the store.

Feeding crushed flake ATM, would they like crushed shrimp pellet?...Am I likely to suck them up if I did a vac in the net?

Office people seem to think they're cute .

They will suck up easily, I would keep them in the net while you gravel vac. You might also check inside your filter and your pail of water after a gravel vac to ensure you didn't suck any up.

If you didn't want to get fry food you could also use a tiny bit of boiled egg yolk for food but watch out as it can foul the water easily.

if u got any other fishes in the tank, i like using color bits, as when the other fish start to eat it, it breaks up and provides food for fry.

With guppies, I just mash up flakes, mine don't seem to like shrimp pellets or freeze dried worms, for some reason....

For the little ones I mix regular and spirulina flake, freeze-dried blood worms, shrimp pellets, and NLS Grow. I crush it into a fine powder, then I feed it with a toothpick.

Thanks everyone, figured guppies were easy enough and that they'd be willing to go with most everything, I'm a bit worried as they'll be left alone all weekend, possible that the older ones might get hungry guess I'll need to get more breeding nets if I'm planning on populating a tank with these guys.

How early can you tell genders and how specifically do you tell, other than the long tail business .

And do males have little red spots on their tummies? I bought 3 fancy males and I'm pretty sure every one of them seem to have red spots (was worried it was septicemia).
