Ok ,I have a awesome digi cam ,I am sure someone who has pics posted also has one ,but its a Kodak 3.1 mega pix Easyshare DX6340 ,(Digi zoom sucks)(before digi zoom on it ,(they all rock)...Cam with dock ,my question is ,on this cam what is the best setting for getting these great photos of my fish? And what is the distance and all settings? When I use auto ,it sets flash on ,I do not like doing this to my fish ,and then I get the (reverb) flash off the tank...I can get screw on lenses ,to help ,is that what I need? .Thank you for all the help ,it is much appreciated ,more than you could know....
Thanks ,Mongoose

Never bother using digital zoom....it will decrease image quality. Good shots can be achieved even with just regular point and shoot cameras such as you have.

I also want to add if I may ,is ,If any of you ever get the chance to goto Keywest Fl (Southern most part of the Cont. U.S.) Go ,and if You do go there be sure to spend the 7 bucks at the Aquarium ,They do a awesome walkthrough tour as well as let you get tasted by Sharks (You touch their tails)
They teach you that sharks ,taste buds ,if you will ,are pretty much all over their hide, I call it hide because them seem very tough and almost furry ,hairy,Like velvet strong bristles ,very tough though ,the best I could tell is they are one MASS OF MUSCLE...Amazing...When you think about attacks ,you always hear about the brush with the shark first ,they say it is tasting what it rubs against...All very interesting to me...If you goto KW ,bring a cup (for drinks) and bring a great marine life spirit...
Thanks ,Mongoose

PS- dont touch the coral please...They claim KW aquarium is the FIRST 1ST open air aquarium in the U.S.A. I didnt doubt them ,I went there in 1984 and 2004 ...Same deal both times ,open air to the ocean and alot of very talented and educated people who LOVE marine life...We took 198 awesome pics and I plan on sharing them with all of you ,soon as I can...
