tankie Fish Addict Posts: 857 Kudos: 848 Votes: 230 Registered: 15-Mar-2005 | thats a bit high..ideally is should be 64°F - 77°F. try asking ur lfs at what temp they kept it, if its the same...then, its ok (i once went up at 82 with platies in it, and they did just fine). |

Also is it normal to find them first thing in the morning almost "sleeping" on the bottom of the tank. If I turn on the light in 10 minutes or so they are up and at em swimming, but its like their sound asleep their. |

The limiting factor would be the size of your aquarium. I've never really noticed them sleeping on the bottom, but I have my aquarium lights on a timer, so I don't usually see them right when the lights go on. |
