One of my Dalmation Mollies has been pregnant 3 times and just when I am sure she is going to release her fry, she gets skinny and there are no fry....Is she having false pregnancies or aborting her babies???????

yeah, alot of the time they have them and are soo tiny you miss them. I got back from holiday before to see that I had 1 baby in my tank. I have seen 7 in my tank before but they all were eaten by other fish.

If there are other fish in the tank, you could put in some floating plants to provide shelter for the new fry. Alternately, you could move her into a separate tank to deliver, or put a meshnet breeding trap in the tank, and place her in that before labor begins. Remember, she will eat her own fry as well - it's a fish eat fish world out there!
