Saving swordtails | |

I have a 29 gallon tank that has 2-cockatoo cichlids 6-pepper corries 9-Glow-light tetras 2-platys(also taken in from another neighbor) My neighbor had 3 swordtail all female. I think they are Pineapple swordtails. She had them for only 3 months. Will they be fine in the tank. I heard that they might be a little more aggressive but I assume that is if one was a male. I do frequent water changes so I think they should be fine. Anything different about them I should know. Or are they just like platys. I have had the 2 for about 6 months. |

If you keep of the water changes, it might be all right. You can treat swordtails the same way you treat platies. If you have any male platies, they will probably try to breed with with the swords (and succeed). |
