I have 2 males guppies to 5 female guppies. Should I get a few more males or shouls I get more females? The LFS near where I work has some very nice imported guppies. I was thinking a nice trio (1male to 2 females) or should I get a pair since I already have 5 females?

A very hard decision.
Steve

I got an extra high 2ft tank and well planted. One female just had 4 babies, but the female looks like its going to die I think its kind of stressed. Now its just on the gravel breathing heavily.

The intended purchase of more guppies' genders would be dependent upon what your plans are.... Are you breeding for a purpose? What do you plan to do with the fry (sell them? dispose of them? allow nature to take its' course by other fish eating them? etc. Then the next consideration would be, do you have the room for whatever is planned?)
If you want LOTS of babies - purchase just females... The two males you already have will be more than happy to "service" them.... And if you buy from a mixed male/female guppy tank - some will already be pregnant.... REMEMBER! Guppies can hold sperm, and become pregnant multiple times with no male being present!
If you're wanting a variety of color in your tank - choose accordingly - a new male would definitely add to the possibilites.....
Really, the choice is up to you..... Guppies are certainly prolific...
Good Luck!

i think u should get at least 1 more female but more than that wouldnt hurt either. Remember, u want a minimum ratio of 2:1(2 females for every male).

I would go for 3 females for 1 male.
