Are you moving the mother fish into a breeder trap or anything? This could cause self-induced abortions and deaths of the mother fishes. Sometimes they are too young, sometimes the genetics just dont seem to work out. Could be any of those things.

Is this a young platy?
The first couple of times of motherhood can be pretty unpredictable and extreme. Maybe she produced too many fry.

If what came out of her resembled fry in any way, then they are fry. Unfertilized eggs would still be round and transparent.

Try adding some salt. IMO and experience, salt is always a good thing for a LB tank. Are your fish "shimmering" at all, like they are acting cold? If so, this is a sign that they are in need of some added salt within their environment. Try adding about 1-2 Tbsp per 5 gals. If this does not help, try adding more.

HTH.....

Im not sure if its a young female platy because I bought it over 2 months ago.
They look perfectly fine, and i dont think my neons will like the salt.
