 | Swordless Swordtail? |
Aqua Newbie n MS Hobbyist Posts: 102 Votes: 1 Registered: 01-Jan-2006   | Is there any particular age or stage when a male swordtail will start to exhibit the tell-tale sword? I have a fish that is of good size (1.5 inches or better) and the "sword" portion of his tail has just started to be prominent in the last week or so. I initially thought I had 2 females until I read a bit more and started to look for the gonopodium as a secondary identifying characteristic. |
