 | WHAT IS GOING ON |
chizunk  Enthusiast Posts: 160 Kudos: 164 Votes: 0 Registered: 21-Jun-2004   | I talked about my platy on these forum before about a week maybe 10 days ago and at that time it looked as if she was gonna have the babies within hours but days have past and the platy is just not giving birth what could be the cause of this could the setting be a problem or could she have had the babies and ate them and do their stomachs go down wen they have the babies if you have any information please let me know thanks  |

kitty163 Fish Addict Posts: 816 Kudos: 1032 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Aug-2003   | Yes their stomach decreases in size when they have had their babies, sometimes they will hold onto them if they are stressed, they can sometimes pick when they want to give birth, she probably would of eaten them if they were in the tank with her. |
