I would like to try to add as many varieties of platys as possible for a stunning and colorful display. My question pertains to how many platys could be squezzed into this size aquarium. I would have a group of 6 danios for population control along with a pleco, a few feeder guppies, harlequin rasboras, and a school of cories. Thanx in advance. |

With them you can add 6 Danios & a couple of Harlequin Rasboras (these are very cool in a school of 15-20). You can add 10 Platy's, but remember that you can get overpopulated with fry in a few months. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

I do not think that population will be a problem with the danios and any extras will be sold to the local lfs. Thank you for your input. |
