I have red wag platties. One of the drops produced one peach/lemon coloured girl. She has a black spot at the base of her tail - her tail being orange - and her dorsal fin is orange with a few tiny orange stripes down her back. She's a real beauty

I've been reading about blue or blue spot platties. I would love to see them as they sound beautiful too.

I have a couple Blue Platies. And they are great looking fish. With my black background, their color really pops.

My 29g is essentially a platy tank and they are all different :%)

I had a blue dawn female, very pretty.

One of my males is called a 'red blue Mickey Mouse'. His body is the deep red-orange that other reds are and he has a very blue Mickey Mouse pattern.

I think my favorite right now is a blue spotted male I recently got online.

The first fry I successfully raised came from my blue female. His coloring is very similar to a German Ram except for the dark markings they have. He's about the same size as my rams and hangs out with them more than the other platies (species confusion? )

I also have a calico male...I should try to get some pics soon and post them.

I honestly think it's too hard to pick just one! I LOVE my blue Platies - under tank light, the blue shimmers like jewels! But then again, my high fin Variatus with their vibrant yellow and orange/red color are magnificent! Then the Guppies -- variety of color and design! It's just to hard for me to pick just one!!!!!!

To thine own self be true...

This is my favourite. Only found out what it is today - Hi Fin Variatus. Very pretty. I have another with a yellow body and red tail not quite as striking as this one but still very pretty. They're male and I have 2 female regular Platy. They've being trying to "get it on" the past few be interested to see what kind of fry they preoduce.

Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.

Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.

I'd have to say the new guppies my LFS just got in. Their tails have this really cool flame like coloration of orange, yellow and black. They're the best looking guppies I've ever seen around here. Best of all, it's natural coloration.
