blk molly (preg) stay on top | |
ladiejl Big Fish Posts: 492 Kudos: 204 Votes: 23 Registered: 27-Feb-2003 | Why do my 2 preg blk mollies stay on the top of the water? The are in a 10 gal with another molly, 1 small gup, 1 reg size gup and a algea eater. I have a long bubble bar in there so Im sure they are getting enough oxygen. Just did a small water change today. They ate fine. Dont seem distressed. Whats up? |

We only have one place here to buy tanks and thats WalMart. We have two LFS but Im sure the ones there are more expensive than the ones at WalMart. You know how it is...people overstock because they cant help but buy fish when they know they shouldnt...... |

ladiejl Big Fish Posts: 492 Kudos: 204 Votes: 23 Registered: 27-Feb-2003 | I only have 4 cherry barbs in the cherry barb tank. Seeing how each one will get just over an inch long, if that big, they should be fine. All my fish except the algea eaters are as big as they will get. A site on here that a man has that is just about Guppies said he puts 20 gups in a 10 gal. Whats in my other tank? A med size platy(that I raised from fry), 2 full grown platties, pleco, 3 full size guppies. And not a fish has died yet. They all eat like crazy and are extrememly active. I dont plan on buying any more fish....unless I get another tank. |
