I'd wondered the same thing, and how the babies would turn out. I'm sure other people on here can get more scientific on it, but simple answer is yes. When you look at it, swordtails are platies that have males that grow fancy tails. Also, it has been done countless times to create many different color forms in both platies and swords. So in short, YES. |
