waiting is the best bet, but i think you can fiddle with the temp.

With some fish a drop in temp can cause eggs to be released, i'm not sure about livebearers.

Livebearers have an annoying little habit of not giving birth till they're jolly well good & ready. When she feels it's right she'll give birth. Trying to force her will only lead to stress which is dangerous for both the mother & the babies.

Wait it out.

Im read somewhere on fp that raising the temp can make it easier for them to give birth.... I'll see if i can find the post for you.

I'd suggest patience! Trying things at this stage can only increase the stress levels and she may not be ready... You'll know when she is.

yip i agree... got mollies too, after she gave birth last march, she didn't drop until now... or maybe she had dropped but was all eaten, not sure!!!

I provided feedback on the assumption that she was already large with fry??? If this is not the case and she isn't 'getting bigger', then water changes can help promote breeding with egg layers but with livebearers, they'll do it regardless - again, patience is the key.
