well it didn't go all bad, i see one baby around .7 inches long, i think he maybe the only one that made it from the hungry adults. i thing i will call him leo.

well this is a good sign that my small new population of breeding endlers is doing ok going from water that was off the scale to my water.

That’s great Chris,

I would not call him a baby anymore if he is already over a half inch long. Soon he will be breeding himself . Do you have enough hiding places for any new fry (and is food falling into them as well)? My platy babies spend the first weeks of their lives hiding in some very dense and tall Pygmy Chain Sword. Only then are they coming out and make me wonder what I should do with all these fish .

Keep us posted on the next set of fry.

Hi, what bad luck to only have one baby Endler. I feed my adults 3 times a day when fry are expected to make sure they are not hungry, and I dont think any of mine are munched on. They have frozen daphnia for one meal a day, usually at night so they are well full at bedtime. Though I think you do get some lines/individuals that eat fry and some that dont.
