What are those tiny guppies sold as feeders at my LFS? the males are beautiful, I have some in my tank as decoration because the owner kindly picked them out for me, but I don't actually know what they are!

hca was right, they are endlers or at least guppy-endler crosses.

What does that mean, Bob? "Till the cows come home." Where have the cows been?

yep, thats what they look like, my guess would be they are hybrids.

at my lfs, they have the prettys/ males in one tank , and the dull/ females in another-as feeders for 2 diff prices..
And a 3rd tank has lyretailed ones for a bit more.

They are cute, and I like lil fish....

Males , like all live bearers will have a godopodium, and are usually brghter colored.

The females are drabber, no godopodium
