I recently got two guppies (male and female) and i want them to have babies. I've noticed that they interact with each other the most, and i'm guessing that him chasing her sometimes could mean that he's interested. But she also follows him around sometimes. Is that normal. The male also seems very interested in my 2 female platies (but i know that they can't reproduce together)

Many different livebearer species will interact with eachother, so it is normal for your guppies to be chasing your platies. Getting another female guppy will up your chances of having fry because the male will have more females to interact and reproduce with.

if you really want to breed guppies get another at least two females, so that other females can rest from chasing of your male.:88) or you may ended up of single male!!!

If you really want your guppies to have fry, you won't have much of a problem. As suggested, get 2 more females, and you will end up with more guppies than you know what to do with!:%) Just be prepared to feed a lot of little guppies!

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."
