One was noticably fatter than the other. This morning, I was checking them out, when something dropped from the fat one. A close look revealed that it was fry! More and more kept coming. Problem is, when they reached the bottom, they were set upon by my cories, who thought the young were food. After a couple of nibbles, the dead fry were left alone. One made it out of sight of the mob, and actually tried swimming! My angelfish saw the bundle of joy, and being the largest fish in the tank, took it upon himself to see what what joy tasted like. He spit it out after about a minute, dead as the others. The thing is, my fish won't even eat the fry, just kill them. What's up? I am new to parenting fish of any kind, and input is welcome.
