They will eat the larvea but surely your thorough clean out should rid the problem. |

Mollies would probably do as well but they like it a little warmer and my ponds aren't heated. I read somewhere that goldfish like plants and algea better than bug, I guess your experience bears that out. |

Sorry, don't know enough about keeping aquarium fish outdoors - our climate in the UK doesnt='t allow for that kind of thing. |
