	mollys again
bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004	well now i have 4 albino mollys(2m & 2F) anyway i am heading back the the store to get 1 male and 3 more females. what i noticed was there where these big sail fin mollys, which i think they call'em red coral mollys. my Q is can these bigger mollys live with my new and existing mollys?

fish1 Banned Posts: 1727 Kudos: 1910 Votes: 58 Registered: 09-May-2004	Depense on the size of your tank bettacris {sorry if you told me before you brobably have i have a hard time remembering everyones tank size} i would say these red coral mollies or w/e should be able to coexist w/ your exsicting mollies quite easly w/o any harm. THe only thing i could think of would be those mollies beating the other mollies for food. good Luck and happy fishkeeping matt

I actually have two trios of what I suspect are what your LFS is calling 'red coral' sailfin mollies (here we call them 'red-gold sailfin mollies'). My males are a good 3" long, and the females just a bit smaller...each trio is producing about 60 fry every 18 days. The only other issue I can see (assuming a decent-sized tank) is that the mollies will interbreed.
