I have had guppies have babies before when I didnt know they were preg. I have a fem now who is white in front and black in back. Really pretty. Shes gotten prettier since I brought her home. Since she is black on her backer half. So some may have a hard time deciding whether on not she is pregant. If you cant tell by the gravid spot, try to look at her while she is facing you and has her rear straight from you. She if her belly swoops lower and if she is wider on her sides. Have many males with her? If you have a good more males than fems, she could be being harassed by them so that she stays away from them and keeps them from getting near her. It may not be your female who has a prob. It could be your male if you just have one male. Are your males old enough?? |
