I just noticed the other day my female swordtail is pregnant. I have some rock in my tank, however I have been told that I should have some plants in the tank for the babies to hide in so they don't get eaten. Is there a particular type of plant that is recommended?
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Anything with lots of small leaves. Floating plants are good too. Plant them close together to give the fry a sanctuary where the adults can't get in.

basically, A LOT of plants does the trick! Having so many plants that your parents of the fry cannot find the fry in order to catch them. That is what i have heard and what has worded VERY well for me.
