i just came back from a week with my Grand Parents and got 27 guppy fry, for $2 10 cents each then i got 2 adults a male and female. i got 16 males, and boy are they beautyfull they are spotted and striped with oranges and reds, and i think some are part sword tail, 1 male has both a top and bottom sword some had none and some have either a top or bottom sword, and more good news my 1 month fry are starting to get color 2 or 3 have a black spot at the base of their tails, oh yea and like 5 or 6 of the fry i perchased have eyes on their bodys!!! i am so excited, i cant wait to breed them

well i lost 1 and am treating 9 others for variouse problems, from chewed up tails to 2 of the 1 month olds with bent spines, do i have to put the bet babys to sleep? they are eating well and dont seem to notice their handycap, i also have some runty 1 month olds, is their a reason? they seem smaller than a new born, they came from the same female but i dont understand, is their something wrong?

What are you feeding the fry? make sure the nitrates dont get to high even ammonia and nitrite for that matter!

i am feeding them crushed flake, nothing is left so nothing touches the floor, everyone gets fed, some are even the pickup crew, i lost the male from cotton wool and i dont know what happened to the female, i just cleaned all their tanks and put a little more meds in and now alot of them have perked up, i have sold 6 babys and 1 adult, from that day, i sold them to my friend, babys are $2 each excpt for 1 of the males who is $3 and i sold the adult for $3, i am still holding them for her to pay me for them, but the babys are seperated and later i will seperate the male, i have dubed the double sword forky, well untill someone can poinnt me in a better direction, when can i put some in the 10 gallon? how big do they have to be?
