	sexing swordtail fry

She has the fins like a female (i.e. no gonopodium), so I just wanted to make sure the males didn't look the same until they reach a certain age...? Thanks, Christina

Mike R Fish Addict Posts: 593 Kudos: 830 Votes: 322 Registered: 27-Jul-2004	Swords mature at different rates, even within the same batch of fry. There is no way to tell if it's a female or a late male until it gets a gonopodium or a gravid spot. How big are they now? Good luck, Mike
