i have had my male and female livebearing fish seperated for a few months now, and i just dont think that its fair that just the males get th have the 30, and the females the 10, should i put them back together? i have the 10 set up for fry, so should i use it as a fry and birthing tank? hmm, the more i think about it the more i like the idea, what would u do in my posistion?

Put them back together. They will love you and each other for it!
Keep the 10 as I keep mine, as a nursery tank. I just move my females into the 10 when they are almost ready to deliver and when they have finished they get to rest a couple of days and then go back with the boys.

I think it just simply depends on you and if you want all the new fry your most likely going to end up with.

Sounds like a good idea and the fish would probably be happy

Are you actually interested in keeping/raising the fry?

yea, i have the fry in a 1 gallon container right now, and they want out but little do they know those fish who appear to be givving kisses, are trying t ofind a weakness in the plastic to get in a and have some "french" frys so yea, i think i will move them into the 30, and use the endler fry as food for my bigger fish, the soon-to-be fry tank looks very nice for now, and i just think it would be better to breed my shrimp and raise my fry, oh and btw i totally recoment goast shrimp for any tank, it is so cute to see them running back and forth and along the way they pick up little particals of shrimp pellits and otherr foods, they have alreafy shed and i have like only had them for a week and a half

Add your females to the male tank and make them happy Keep the 10 gallon as a fry tank if you wish...for the past 2 years I've just left my fry in the tank with the parents and plenty of plants...and I overcrowd about every 2-3 months to sell back to the lfs...

Please don't feed the Endler's to large fish!!! I would love to get some, but haven't been able to...Raise them a bit more and sell them back to the lfs...

And I do agree ghost shrimp are hilarious!!! I've had this one who has survived 2 serious moves, and anything else my tank could dish out to it in the past 3 years...He is funny to watch...Just the other night I caught him and my newest male guppy flaring up at each other. All I could do was laugh at the two of them...The guppy flaring like a male beta, and the shrimpy acting like he was going to attack ROFLMAO....Heidi

Fishy he sounds gorgeous, and very much like one I just bought. Mine too is quite beautiful...and he is always after the females I swear he is going to wear them out ...long black tail, long gonopodium, and long (what are they called) side fins...black as night, and quick as can be...almost impossible to get a picture of...maybe I'll net him and put him in the measuring cup for his photo shoot Congratulations on your new fishy friends, and soon you too will have fry :%)--Heidi
