i really dont see anyway how. The only way is to keep some spare female, and all the males, and give away the rest of the other females. to kinda controll breeding.

Pete,
the only way to prevent breeding is to either remove the males or the females.
There is no "birth control" for fish!
However, to prevent tank overpopulation, there are many
species of fish that are avid fry hunters, and can be capable of keeping the fry numbers in check.

What size is the tank? This will help us to give you some options if you want to consider a predatory fish to help consume fry.

To prevent births, you must remove the males or the females to another tank, or else get another fish that will eat the fry.

Or find a friend with a fish that you can feed the fry to.
