The only way is to keep some spare female, and all the males, and give away the rest of the other females. to kinda controll breeding. There is no "birth control" for fish! However, to prevent tank overpopulation, there are many species of fish that are avid fry hunters, and can be capable of keeping the fry numbers in check. What size is the tank? This will help us to give you some options if you want to consider a predatory fish to help consume fry.
