bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 | i have these two large female (whatevers). they are the wild green color. i bought one in the .99 tank so i don't know if it a molly or swordtail. is there a way to tell adult female sword from a molly. Also tankmates: 2 pair albino red molly 1 trio green swordtails(small) 2 unknown females one of the female (nameless) is really aggressive to my large male molly and they fight alot. |

TigerAngel Fish Addict Posts: 522 Registered: 22-Feb-2004 | Female adult mollys tend to be more rounder/bigger than Swordtails. When pregnant their bellys are swollen. Swordtails are smaller and more slender. Torpedo shape. More of a pointier nose. Mollys here are more basic colours like: Black - white- silver- grey- marble- dalmatian or if your lucky yellow.
