If you have enough places for babies to hide in your tank then they will be fine with the adults IME. Just grind up some flakes or granules and feed them that You could sell them but you wouldn't get much money for them so I would just keep them

I keep some type of floating plastic plants in the tank so the fry can hide until you find them to put them in a fry net.

Another tank is best if you can get one. If you can't, lots of plants for them to hide in.

The guppies are going to keep having babies so if you intend to raise them you are going to need more tanks and a fish store to sell them or give them to.

I feed livebearer fry crushed up flakes but you can buy fry food.

Be careful when you clean the tank, fry can get sucked up. Check the bucket before you dump it. (This is not an excuse not to clean the tank.)

Do not get a floating breeder, all they do is stress the fish, often delaying birth and plants do just as well for saving the babies.

Do not get one of those nets that hang on the side, all they do is get gunked up and the fry are too crowded.

Good luck, Mike

I say breeders serve their purpose, guppy fry are easily caught and eaten by most fish. Also, the males will harass the female the entire birthing period, and prob eating the newborns as they are laid. This has resulted in lost females and fry for me, and I do have a well planted tank. Put female in there a few days before drop time and leave her in there for 2 days after to recuperate.. Move the fry into a fry tank after 5 days. Keep the nitrates no higher than 10 for the first couple weeks, the cleaner the water the better but remember no large water changes..

Perfect fry food - freeze-dried (fd) blood worms, (fd)brine shrimp, and cichlid flakes (usually a higher quality than guppy or trop fish flakes) grind it up into a powder using a clean coffee bean grinder if handy.. Very small pinches 3 to 5 times per day.
