hi everyone,

I have a 33 gallon aquarium, with an undergravel filter, 150 watt heater (works now), flourescent light, medium planted.

Fish:

guppies
platies (i am going to keep only a few fry and sell the rest)
swordtails
bronze corys
1 pleco

I want to make it a community tank not only livebearers. I was thinking maybe a gourami of some sort. But what else could i put in there? I dont want any tetras!!!!

thanks a bunch, addict

That's a lot of livebearers for one tank. You'll want to keep a ratio of a least 1M/2F with them. I've also read that male swordtails will fight so it's best to only have one per tank.

The only problem I see with a gourami is that they tend to be good fry eaters.

well, my suggestion was going to be neon tetras...For the longest time I had neons in with my guppies...it made a really nice tank, and was hilarious to watch when the guppies would try to breed with the neonsand the neons would try to school with the guppies:%)

Fishhelper, typically males will fight, but you are obviously very luckyYou either have plenty of females, lots of hiding places, lots of room, and/or plenty of plants...no matter what be happy...I would be
