what does a baby's male swortail's tail look like? | |

Fish tanks are an expensive addiction |

Usually the common varieties they grow in a few months. The only way to sex them before that time, is when the males get their gonopodium, or sex organ. The anal fin will actually have what looks like a separated fin ray in the front part of the anal fin, or what appears to be a long pointed stick. The females will not have these, and as stated above, their anal fins will be more rounded. There is always a bigger fish... |
