worm flakes will double guppy drops/litters? | |
Guppy gurl Hobbyist Posts: 114 Kudos: 79 Votes: 15 Registered: 25-Aug-2004 | i've heard that feeding your guppies worm flakes will increase the amount your female guppy's fry drops by doubling it....but what are worm flakes and where can i get them? |

These things are wildly popular with many fish, and are also pretty healthy as I understand it. You should be able to find them in a fish store somewhere near you, otherwise just try to order online. |

sirbooks Moderator Sociopath Posts: 3875 Kudos: 5164 Votes: 932 Registered: 26-Jul-2004 | Earthworms and bloodworms are totally different organisms; bloodworms are the larvae of a midge (I think, dunno what kind), and earthworms are the large pink worms found in dirt. They're the ones that people use for fishing. As I said above, you should be able to find a pet/fish store near you that carries earthworm flakes. They are manufactured by at least one or two of the major companies, I think Tetra or Wardley is one of them. If you cannot buy the flakes in your area, just search for and order them online. |
