I have had my AquaC Remora running for 2 weeks now and so far all I have are a lot of bubbles coming into the tank. I know they have a break in period but this seems a bit strange not to be getting any Skimmate at all.

Hmm, can't say I've had any problem at all with mine. After about 3 days the bubbles went away, and it started to foam a little better. It's still pretty wet, but it's taking out a pretty nasty brown liquid along with some foam. If I adjusted it some more I'm sure wetness wouldn't be a problem.

If your really concerned with the skimmer, give the guys at AquaC a call, I hear they are excellent to work with and very helpful.

I would be checking anything thats adjustable. Even with no fish, my skimmer had good foam head within a few hours.... water looked crystal and it amazed me where it got the junk from

I will bet that Jason Kim at Aqua C will tell you the same thing he told me."I suspect the low bio-load is playing a role hear. You should see some improvement as your stocking level increases."
he also said any additives may cause mico bubbles.
Mine pulled out a half a cup of brown water the first night but I think my water was much more polluted than yours.I have to empty the cup once a week now with a very dark liquid.
