Week End Big Fish Posts: 414 Kudos: 436 Votes: 1 Registered: 16-May-2004 | I say taking only about half of the old stuff (LR and LS)from the old tank will be saver since it is a low stocking tank, your established filter should be able to handle the 3 fishes but just in case it doesn't, only take out half the LR. Get new LR and using your old ones to cycle up the new tank first before adding your fish, adding another 26 pounds should be enough. And a protein skimmer is a great addition to a marine system, many people says that it is not "needed" in a low staocking level fish only system, but having it will give u the option to support more fish, less water changes but higher water quality. So get it...if u can fit it in your tank |
