Has anyone had any expirence with the Aqua Medic Turboflotor multi SL protien skimmer? Is it any good?

These skimmers are a fine performer at a reasonable price. Their major downfall is their lack of clear installation instructions. Frankly, these are some of the worst instructions I have ever had to read, likely because of poor translation from German into English. This is truly a shame, because it takes away from an otherwise decent skimmer.

Turboflotors are a great skimmer. They do lack a little on instructions, but they are still good enough to get your skimmer up and running.

cool, thats good to know they guy from my LFS did all the pumbing and showed me to setup the skimmer yesterday. So now I just have to leave it a couple of days for the pvc cement set and its cycle time.

You shouldnt have to wait more than 12-24 hours after the pvc has been glued before you can fill it and fire it up.

cool He finished about 7:00 last night but I am going to the pub to night for christmas eve drinks so It will be a boxing day job anyways.
