Anything I should add or do differently? I am thinking about introducing berghia to combat all that aiptasia. Thanks for the thoughts! 1) breakdown 60 gallon tank "Main" - drain some water into buckets - catch misc critters (starfish, shrimp, crabs, snails) - place live rock in buckets covered with water - place live sand in buckets covered with water - disconnect all plumbing 2) Transport home 3) temporary transfer to 55 gallon tank "Holding" - add/build PVC fr - add live sand and water - add live rock and water - release misc critters (starfish, shrimp, crabs, snails) - add remaining water (discard 5 gallons) 4) Setup "Holding" tank - connect CPR Bak Pak 2 - add 2 powerheads for circulation 5) Cleanup "Main" tank and stand - Paint stand - clean/rinse out tank - remove all corraline algae from tank walls - address any scratches in the acrylic 6) Test plumbing 7) breakdown 55 gallon tank "Holding" - drain some water into buckets - catch misc critters (starfish, shrimp, crabs, snails) - place live rock in buckets covered with water - place live sand in buckets covered with water - disconnect all plumbing 8) final transfer to 60 gallon tank "Main" - add/build PVC fr - add live sand and water - evaluate live rock (clean and keep or discard) - clean live rock with brush (remove hair algae + Aiptasia) - add live rock and water - add remaining water (add additional 5 gallons) - release misc critters (starfish, shrimp, crabs, snails) 9) test water 10) transfer contents from 18 gallon tall "Current" - add live rock - add live sand - add crabs, snails, fish |
