I live near Catalina, so naturally these are a first choice for marine fishkeeping for me. Of course, I know nothing about them. So, if you know it, tell me it.

Small, cold water fish, life span of around 14 months.

They are very pretty, but can be a little difficult to keep because of their cold water requirements. Also, the fish only living a maxium of around 1 year regardless of how well they are provided for is a bit discouraging. They are cute though.

Like Mikey stated, their lifespan isnt that long, and you would most likely need a chiller to keep the tank cool enough to make their life as long lived as it is in the wild (1 - 1.5 years.)
