Anyone know of a good site where I can purchase fully cured live rock online?

Most of the sites I've come across only sell pre-cured or uncured rock. The only exception to that has been the Aquarium Arts site which doesn't allow you to order online. I've tried e-mailing them but haven't gotten a response yet.

The reason you dont see cured live rock is because by the time they ship it to you it will have die off on it anyway. There is only one company that I know of that ships their rock in water, and it is expensive to do that.

I've heard that it smells really bad to cure live rock. Just how bad is it?

Any suggested alternatives?

No, I don't have a garage.

Bad enough to make your entire house smell, not to mention it is reccomoned to have a very large skimmer running on a curing tank.

What most people don't realize is that it's ok to cure liverock in tubs in the backyard. Just make sure you have some water circulation.

Interesting idea with the tubs ... but wouldn't it be difficult to control the temperature outside?
