Filtration quest | |
GuessWho Hobbyist Posts: 149 Votes: 0 Registered: 16-Sep-2003 | Hi all, I have just finished with the setup of my tank. (1.2X450X600 and 1.0X300 Sump) This tank works similar to a normal overflow, but within the over flow it also filters from the bottom, brilliantly done. The sump contains of bio balls (300X300 compartment.), chip coral (300X100 compartment.), refugium (200x300 compartment.), Sand bed filter and skimmer (300x300 compartment.) in up pump compartment. My question, what is the vibe on using charcoal, phosphate, and copper remover as filtration in a reef setup? Please note that I am getting NSW from the aquarium. Thanks |
