The biowheels will work great as they are technically just a wet/dry filter. As for removal of detritus, you will not see much of this. As in SW most of it is broken down to very small pieces long before it reaches any type of mechanical filter. Thus, too small to be collected by the filter pads of most HOB filters. This is the main reason for skimmers. There is always a bigger fish... |
