How much $ for a 40-G Saltwater Setup? | |
DarkRealm Overlord Moderator metal-R-us Posts: 5962 Kudos: 2166 Registered: 23-Sep-2002 | Welcome to fishprofiles! A 40 gallon tank will not be big enough for a stingray. They need alot of swim room, and alot of soft sand. I wouldnt put a sting ray in anything less than a 300 gallon pond type of setup. |

You could keep babies of some species, but an upgrade is mandatory. Also, cartilaginous fishes are high in care level; definitely not for beginners. However, they ARE awesome. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |
