I have never heard that one before, and really can't see where there would be any evidence of it either. And I actually do run two emperors with biowheels on one of my SW tanks. There is always a bigger fish... |

Get a hydrometer to measure the water and make sure it is between 1.021-and 1.025, but keep it near the same with every water change. |

ACIDRAIN Moderator Posts: 3162 Kudos: 1381 Votes: 416 Registered: 14-Jan-2002 | First, you will need to buy a hydrometer. Ask at your LFS about these, as there are many different models out there. You LFS will be able to explain to you how to use the ones they sell. The hydrometer, is how you measure the correct amount of salt in the water. The damsel will harras the clown when it gets larger. I do not suggest this mixture in a 10 gal tank. Try some chromis, as they are inexpensive, and they will do nicely in a 10 gal tank, as well, they will not harass the clown, nor the clown harrass the chromis. And lastly, yes, you can use those filters on this tank. If they have a biowheel, it is all the better. HTH.... There is always a bigger fish... |
