Live Sand Dust | |
ipsomatic9 Fingerling Posts: 38 Kudos: 16 Votes: 1 Registered: 13-Nov-2006 | My wife and I just set up a new nano-reef tank (nothing but a couple hermit crabs and some live rock so far). We put in the live sand and as I expected it clouded the tank up but good. Over night all that dust settled and now covers all the rocks and the filter intake. It looks like ash from a volcano eruption! What is the best way to get rid of this without stirring it all up again? Will is eventually just go away? Advise please.
