New Tank :) | |
carpe_diem Fish Addict *Dreamer* Posts: 555 Kudos: 292 Votes: 51 Registered: 18-Apr-2004 | Hi I just bought home a 4ft tank.. very excited.. dont know whether to do marine or freshwater.. as i have very little knowledge in the marine tank area could someone provide some insight as to what i will need and cost.. i realise its gng to be expensive and cash is a bit limited at the moment so its gng to be a bit of a deciding factor as to which way i go.. but would like to get an idea if i can possibly to do marine. Thanks! |

Read the beginners article in general marine to get an idea of what we're talking about here. Depending on what kind of tank you want to set up...you could be spending a couple hundred to a couple thousand. I am not quite sure how many feet across it is, I have not measured it yet. You should join me in this new experience lol. We can figure things out together! Yes SW can be more expensive unless you choose wisely! Try finding stuff on e-bay and places liek that before heading out to your lfs. A lot of the time you can really do A LOT better that way and save yourself money as well! Christina |
