I spotted a 55 gallon SeaClear tank with a stand that was on eBay and in my neck of the woods. For $50, I figured what the heck. So I'm trying to plan a migration from my 18 gallon tall eclipse tank. I'll probably need to buy some mor elive rock and sand but just getting started on the rest of the list. 1) Any thought on filtration? Type? New/used? 2) Lighting - The tank doesn't have a hood, but hopefully I'll find something that matches the stand and will allow for lights. Any thoughts? 3) Any experience with those acrylic kits for dealing with scratches? Any thoughts on cleaning acrylic (supplies) in general? 4) Also, the tank does NOT have a painted background. Does anyone have experience in painting an acrylic back? Many thanks for your thoughts! Best, Jeff Last edited by jeffrey_ropp at 19-Dec-2004 23:29 Last edited by jeffrey_ropp at 19-Dec-2004 23:30 |
