Phosphate Level | |
fraggedup Enthusiast Posts: 169 Kudos: 43 Votes: 1 Registered: 10-Jan-2003 | I just had my water checked here at work in our Chem Lab and they just told me my PO4 is 2.79ppm and my water hardness is 4800, I'm planning on doing a water change tonight with Distilled water but does anyone have any other ideas???? |

This includes your FW top offs and ALL water changes. Phosphates are present in tap water, and changing out phosphate riddled water with phosphate riddled water will do you no good. A skimmer is a good investment, also, and a lower stocking list will help you to lower your levels. Over time, you should be able to dilute the phosphate considerably. |
