RO/DI water storage | |
stud_man50 Fingerling Posts: 30 Kudos: 16 Votes: 13 Registered: 22-Feb-2003 | I'm going to purchase a RO/DI unit, but in my smaller house in florida i don't really have room for storage of RO/DI water, the LFS guy which i believe most of what he says. He says that if i store my premade water in my garage that the higher temps would affect the quality of water, but isn't RO/DI water Pure? also i know i would have to cool the water before adding it to my tank too.. also i was thinking of use the Blue 55 gal drums the ones i found said they are food grade?? |

If you're storing it in your garage, though, I'd cover it. You don't want anything starting to live in there, like mosquitoes. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |
