I paid $45 a piece for them, each one pushes 820 GPH though, so they are pretty powerful little pumps. So far they have been getting pretty good reviews, despite Rios reputation for not so great pumps. Apparently these are ba Seio 820 I'll probably return with some feedback eventually. |

The Seio pumps have gotten good reviews, but they are not recommended to go on a wavemaker......and the are still a RIO! |

Are those the PH's that you got from the guy in your reef club that shot water across a room or something? On the back of the Seio box there is also the M2600, which is apparently 2,600 GPH. I've never seen any of the 3 models higher than the 820 though, so I don't know if those have even been released yet. |

I went to visit him and pick up some more SPS yesterday. His shop is using the Seio pumps in their SPS tank and he is happy with them.....so far no problems. |

If I ever upgrade to a large reef, they are probably what I would use though. Have you seen the M1100, M1500, or M2600 yet? |

Other than that it doesnt really matter. I would chose the one that works the best for where you want to mount them, and then what way is less likely to fall. Im starting to mount static flow (no wavemaker) powerhead right at each other so the flows crash into each other, creating a swirling/random current. |
