I have just setup /seting up my new tank, The tank + sump is 120GalUS I have put about 120lbs of Live rock in the tank.

Its been in for about 4 days, I have had my skimmer running since I put the LV in, the frist night I the cup 1/2 filled with yellowish water. but in the last 3 day it has collected nothing, the foam dosent bubble over into the cup, is this normal?

Its a Aqua Medic Turboflotor multi SL Skimmer and it didnt come with very good instructions, I am new to this so I dont know what to expect.

Any help would be great

Thanks

Not familiar with that skimmer but the foam will depend on your adjustments and your bioload.

what I mean is you may not have alot of protiens in your tank yet. Also most skimmers take awhile to "break in".I have heard of some taking a few weeks to do so.Relax and see how things develope.
